500,000 deaths in Brazil: Georisco promotes international conference on COVID-19

 In the midst of a tenebrous record of 500,000 deaths by COVID-19 in Brazil, the Georisco research group will promote a conference with Professor Gonzalo Bacigalupe, from the University of Massachusetts (USA) and CIGIDEN - Centro de Investigación para la Gestión Integrada del Riesgo of Disasters, on June 25, 2021, at 3:00 pm, on the theme The disaster COVID19: A lost opportunity for collaboration with authority -ciudadanía.

After 10 years of its creation, Georisco celebrates this important milestone with the GEORISCO International Seminar, which will run until September 10, and will feature four conferences by renowned researchers on the topic of Disaster Risk Reduction at an international level.
